CFD Engineer/Naval architect
NED-Project is an independent ship design office, known for tackling some of the most challenging projects such as e.g. Earth 300.
We are currently working on a couple of very complex and innovative vessels and we are looking for a naval architect with some experience in (or willing to learn) CFD and seakeeping.
You will be expected to operate in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
If you are a creative person capable of independent work, eager to learn new tools and technology then you are certainly a right fit.
What we expect from you:
- Responsibility for the CFD simulations
- Responsibility for the seakeeping analyses
- Automating some of the tasks related to ship design
- Transferring your skills to other employees
- Writing the reports
- Cooperating with the sales & marketing teams
Requirements:
- Relevant educational background
- Ideally, 2+ years experience in CFD simulations and seakeeping
- Long term commitment and willingness to grow within the company
- Strong command of the English language, spoken and written.
Electrical/Automation Engineer
NED-Project is an independent ship design office, known for tackling some of the most challenging projects such as e.g. Earth 300.
We are currently working on a couple of very complex and innovative vessels and we are looking for an electrical & automation engineer to join our team.
You will be expected to operate in an international, multidisciplinary environment where you will liaise with different stakeholders and handle tasks on all sorts of projects.
What we expect from you:
- Preparation of full electrical documentation of ship’s installations according to international standards and classification societies requirements
- Selection of electrical equipment based on client’s requirements,
- Carry out technical analysis in accordance with international guidelines
- Supervision in yard during construction stage of the vessels,
Requirements:
- Relevant educational background
- Ideally, 5+ years experience in Electrical & Automation position
- Long term commitment and willingness to grow within the company
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong command of the English language, spoken and written.
Lead Naval Architect
NED-Project is an independent ship design office, known for tackling some of the most challenging projects such as e.g. Earth 300.
We are currently working on a couple of very complex and innovative vessels and we are looking for a highly experienced naval architect to join our team and lead the projects on the technical side.
If you are an experienced engineer with a number of years working in the industry, familiarity with the ruling conventions and different Classification Societies rules, we can invite you to join our team of industry experts. Our most experienced professionals provide expertise on complex projects to clients all around the globe in the fields of naval architecture, ship machinery, offshore engineering and many others.
You will be expected to operate in an international, multidisciplinary environment where you will liaise with different stakeholders and handle tasks on all sorts of projects.
What we expect from you:
- Responsibility for the ship design from concept to detail engineering
- Leading other naval architects and marine engineers
- Transferring your skills to less experienced naval architects
- Reviewing the work and carry out checks to that regulatory and customer’s requirements are met
Requirements:
- Relevant educational background
- Minimum of 15 years’ work experience as (Senior / Lead / Principal) Naval Architect
- Long term commitment and willingness to grow within the company
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong command of the English language, spoken and written.
