Prof. Andrzej Lerch

B860 is a tugboat with a different architecture than the one we have completed so far. It’s more fighting. The slope of the walls is adapted to reflect radar rays. The winch on the bow is also completely protected so that the reflections are as small as possible and protected against waves. The unit measures 29.40 m in length, 10.40 m in width, 4.95 m in height. It can travel at a maximum speed of 20 kn.

New challenges awaiting the Polish Navy as well as the continuous program of the fleet replacement has allowed NED-Project to participate in a brand new project, during which we have designed the concepts for the modern technical fleet. The concepts include an oil tanker, logistic support vessel, LSV trimaran, and a tugboat. The last had been developed until its completion and in October of 2018, the first unit of the series – B660 ‘Bolko’ – has been launched.

NED-Project is the holder of state license for executing projects for the Polish Navy and the Polish Police, as well as state, NATO, and EU security clearances regarding classified information, making us eligible for taking up new challenges in the field of modern naval forces.
